[A text from... Well, surely someone at the information meeting, right?]
Hey there, man with the binder, on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being some looney tunes Wile E. Coyote big red x on the ground level obvious, how sketchy do you think the Halloween Party is?
A solid 8. The Captain isn't involved, so we don't have to worry about his sense of humor... But given the lurking possessions, the decaying ship, and the alarming uptick in murders, I'd say chances are good at least one person will die.
Ah, well, if it's individual and independent I can cope with attacks. Anything coordinated or likely to have the Captain show up and fuck around directly is where I start getting worried.
The Captain's not involved, but do you think he'd attend anyway?
also over/under over everything getting set on fire?
Truthfully, I'd prefer him to be in charge. At least then I'd know what to expect. Right now, I'm swinging wildly between "Friday frantically trying to keep morale up" and "ghosts."
I don't know. He hasn't been feeling his best, obviously, but it would be a good chance for him to wander about unnoticed. Maybe he could try making some friends.
If the ship gets set on fire, we're fucked. That's just how ships and fire work.
You say that, but there's been no less than two, maybe three explosions and a fire set in the Spirit Halloween and against the odds it's still standing, but I'm aware there's a silent 'so far' at the end of that.
Anyway I think ghosts are a given considering that B plot's been running through the whole month, it's just a matter of if they'll behave or be edgey.
The explosions didn't damage the hull, and that's what matters. But if an entire deck goes up in flame, nobody will emerge triumphantly from it.
Edgey. Ghosts are never just "hanging out." Well, obviously yes, they do just "hang out," but those sorts of ghosts aren't normally going out and possessing people...
