valdis was telling me that friday said if a ghost got out of the nothing it would completely entirely destroy the ship and everything on it forever no takebacksies so honestly its worse
Okay, so it is that bad. But that's fine. Who hasn't had to stop a world-ending catastrophe brought on by magical hubris? All we have to do is figure out HOW it will destroy the ship and then make it not do that. Simple.
wow you really dont even believe your own shit this time do you ill do what i can if it happens and valdis says she can handle ghosts too but like this is bad dude just admit its bad
and then immediately afterwards you said 'this is fine'. dont bullshit me i know you and 'work out how it does the thing and then stop the thing' isnt a plan and doesnt reassure me
You are correct, it isn't a plan. It's a series of thoughts that will eventually coalesce into a plan. And we have until people start reporting mangled corpses on deck to figure out how to do that.
Ghosts aren't my forte, but I do have literally two centuries' worth of experience with cataclysmic magical catastrophes. I'll see what I can find out from the Captain and Friday, and we'll figure out a plan that may, with any luck, actually help us forward our goal of getting everyone out of here.
I'm confused. You don't want to help? I thought ghosts were your particular forte? And this is possibly directly tied to the need for a new afterlife, isn't it?
Good. I have literally no idea what to do about ghosts other than, well. You know. Ignore them. Most of the time they can't do anything in my reality, unless they have a meatsuit to puppet.
if it comes down to it im going to have to eat it which means like total obliteration nothing left of it so tell me how the talk with friday and the captain goes so we can start thinking of an actual plan that doesnt force me to have to do that
